Service Projects Committee

Posted by .

As we move further along in the development of our Rotary E-Club in a form consistent with the RI Club Leadership Plan, the following activities serve as the mission-related areas of the Membership Committee. Therefore, the functions listed below are under the umbrella of the Service Projects committee.

The five areas of service are all supported by this committee. These areas are:

  • International service
  • Club service
  • Community Service
  • Vocational service
  • New generations

In order that there be immediate service opportunities for Charter Members of the New England E-Club, we will actively seek to partner with our Club Sponsor – the Rotary Club of Sharon – to supplement and complement participation in their service projects. Included in these opportunities will be projects such as the Saturday Soup Kitchen; Steve Herrick’s Kids Christmas; Road Clean-up; and Interact Club activities; as well as District projects such as the Rubella Project; GSE; RYLA; and Youth Exchange.

Stay tuned as our members select specific special projects for Club sponsorship, collaboration, and/or participation.

If you have an interest in working as a member of this Committee, or as an active member of the committees/taskforces that are formed to coordinate each of the above special projects, please contact the Committee Chair.

If you have an interest in participating in the activities of any one or more of the above special projects, please watch the events announcements and register online to participate.
